12 October 2020 Update:
Recently, we have had two staff members confirm positive for coronavirus at our Kempsville location. As we provide time off for the rest of our staff to be tested and self-isolate at home until they are confirmed to be negative -- We will be experiencing severe staffing shortages. We are committed to remaining open to provide care to our patients.
In order to accomplish this, we will need to limit walk-in and after hours services to our 24-hour service members only at this time. Current clients that have declined 24 hour service membership will be seen by appointment only. If you are not currently a 24 hour service member and your pet needs to be seen without an available appointment, please consider one of the following local veterinary hospitals:
Bay Beach Town Center | (757) 340-3913 | 4340 Virginia Beach Blvd |
Bay Beach Courthouse | (757) 427-3214 | 2476 Nimmo Pkwy #101 |
Blue Pearl Town Center | (757) 499-5463 | 364 S Independence Blvd |
Blue Pearl Greenbrier | (757) 366-9000 | 1100 Eden Way N Suite 101 |
The COVE | (757) 935-9111 | 6550 Hampton Roads Pkwy #113, Suffolk, VA 23435 |
All current clients with pets that have been seen in the past year may continue to request Televet consultation services. However you may experience a longer than normal response time. For more information: https://televet.com/owners
We also apologize that we are unable to accommodate new clients for walk-in or after hours services at this time:
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time for our team. We will update everyone when we are able to return to our previous open door walk-in availability.
We will continue our curbside only policy, mask requirement, and social distancing procedures to try to keep our community and our team as safe as possible. Please allow us to obtain the majority of your pet's history over the phone, and keep patient transfers brief and limited.
Stay Healthy.
Sincerely, Doctors and Staff of Acredale Animal Hospital.
