Dr. Pheobe Frye - Veterinarian
Dr. Pheobe Frye is a Virginia Beach native who received her veterinary degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies.
While on the island, she was the president of the Orphanage Student Organization, which helped educate and guide local children of Grenada. Dr. Frye attended the University of Mary Washington prior to going to vet school, where she studied Biology, Chemistry, and a little Spanish. Her interests include nutrition, surgery, and large animal exotics. One thing she can’t wait to do is return to South Africa. Dr. Frye completed a 21-day course at the Amakhala Reserve, where she pursued her love of large exotic animals.
Dr. Frye loves to spend her time off hiking with her dogs, spending time with family, and exploring national parks. Riley, her pit bull accompanied Dr. Frye through vet school, sitting on the plane being a very good girl. Dr. Frye also has 2 cats (Sunny and Olive) and a new puppy named Kevin.
